I'm taking the test this Sunday!!!! I'm sooooo nervous! This calmed me down a bit. :))

Top 12 Electrical Engineering Schools in the Philippines

Exams for this field are conducted twice a year: May and September.  The Professional Regulations Commission’s (PRC) website is the main source of data used for the table above.

Like in other fields, PRC presents its top schools in categories.  For EE, the top schools were usually categorized in two:  with 10-25 examinees, and with 26-50 examinees.  To eliminate these categories and come up with an over-all top 10 schools still in consideration with PRC ranking, then, the limit used for the table above is simply “with 10 or more examinees” but with exception.  Once a school has entered the top 10 in whichever exam date, the limit is waived and the school is still considered in the ranking.  Take the case of UP-Los Banos with below 10 representatives in May 2008 exam.  It is important to note though that such waiver is only good thrice.  Beyond that, the school is out of the race.  An example is Xavier University having 100 passing percentage four times but each earned with only one or two representatives.  This exception to the exception was set so as to recognize those schools with large number of representatives and still having high passing percentage.
