DLSUCET Application: Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an extension of the submission deadline for DLSUCET requirements?

Unfortunately, there isn’t one.  DLSU is pretty strict when it comes to submission deadlines because the testing schedule allows for batches.  In the event that an applicant misses his or her deadline, the admissions office will relegate him or her to the next available batch instead.  It’s not quite a “deadline extension”, yet it’s the closest thing to one.

Is there another DLSUCET schedule?

Strictly speaking, there is no other DLSUCET schedule besides the one posted on the school’s official website.  The closest thing to “another schedule” would be the succeeding dates of testing for the next batch of applicants for the same school year.

Normally, it’s the Office that determines which student goes to which batch, but that doesn’t mean students are stuck.  It’s possible to get “shifted” to another batch with a different testing schedule within the limits prescribed by the Admissions Office.  Submitting requirements late, for instance, will move the applicants to the succeeding batch.

What do I do if I lose my DLSUCET test permit?

Never fear:  DLSU will provide a new test permit for you if ever you lose your original one.  It won’t come for free, though—be prepared to shell out 50 pesos for a new one.  Of course, it’s best not to lose your permit in the first place.

What do I do if I forget my DLSUCET confirmation number?

The DLSU online application system makes use of confirmation numbers instead of usernames and passwords.  Unfortunately, a confirmation number retrieval system doesn’t exist.  If you happen to lose or forget that magic number, the Admissions Office staff members recommend filling another form up and reapplying.  It’s inconvenient, but it’s really the only way to go.
