Texas Association of Mapúa Alumni (TAMA) Scholarship Program

Scholarship Background

TAMA is a non-profit organization founded in 1980 by graduates of Mapúa Institute of Technology, considered as one of the finest engineering and architectural schools in the Philippines. The association’s primary goals are to promote the image of Mapua graduates and the Alma Mater; to uphold and sustain loyalty to the Alma Mater; to foster camaraderie among the members and their families; and to provide financial assistance to deserving students of Mapúa who are unfortunately inadequate to pursue their studies. TAMA prides itself as one of the first Fil-Am organizations founded in Texas that still exists to date.
