Scholarship Background

The Mapua Institute of Technology – Chemical Engineering and Chemistry Alumni Association ((MITChE-ChemAA) is one of the accredited Alumni Associations under the umbrella organization NAMA or the National Association of Mapúa Alumni Inc.

Scholarship Benefits

-Scholars will receive a tuition fee assistance of Php10, 000 per quarterm

Scholarship Qualifications

-Must be a currently-enrolled ChE, Chm, ChE/BT, ChE/Chm, ChE/BT or ChE/Chm/BT student of MAPÚA;
-An applicant must be in his/her last 8 terms;
-Must have a GWA standing of 2.50 for the last term;
-Must have no failing and incomplete grades for the last two terms;
-Parents combined annual income must not exceed to Php 400,000.00 pesos;
-Must be of good health;
-Must be with good moral character.

Scholarship Requirements

-Completed Scholarship Application From (Downloadable at MIT website)
-Two 2×2 ID pictures
-Photocopy of Certificate of Matriculation (CM)
-Photocopy of Final Grade Report since 1st Year
-Photocopy of Latest Income Tax Return of Parents or Affidavit of Not Filing Income Tax Return
-Certificate of Good Moral from Office of the Prefect and Discipline
-A Request letter from parent stating the reasons why the applicant needs financial support among others.
-brief essay stating “why i deserve this scholarship grant”

Responsibilities of Scholars:
-The scholar must have a GWA of 2.50 or higher
-The scholar must not have a grade lower than 3.0 in any course/subject
-Must finish the program within the prescribed numbers of quarters
-The scholar must provide and update his/her personal contact information
-Must visit the CSFA Office before enrollment for validation
