Scholarship Background

The UP Sigma Alpha Sorority is a leader in the social development of women. It is a duly recognized organization in the University of the Philippines established on October 24, 1964 as a protest sorority against physical initiation. The sorority is bonded by the motto Truth-Leadership-Loyalty. Their core objectives are to uphold the dignity of an individual and effect a change in the status of women in our society.

Scholarship Qualifications

must have passed the UPCAT;
if already enrolled, must have an average of “2,0” or better in the immediately preceding semester;
must be enrolled in at least 15 units;
parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P 200,000.00;
must not be a member of any sorority except the Sigma Alpha Sorority.

Scholarship Requirements
