Scholarship Background

The UP Law Class of 1949 Scholarship Grant was established in 1999. The donors for this grant is the UP Law Class of 1949.

Scholarship Benefits

actual interest earnings of the fund but not to exceed P 18,500.00 per semester.

Seed Money: P 551,110.04

Funds with UP Foundation

Balance including interest: P 735,193.07

Scholarship Qualifications

must be a Filipino citizen;
if an entering freshman must have passed the UP Law Aptitude Examination;
if already enrolled, must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” in the semester immediately preceding the application. Any grade of “4.00” or “inc.” must be removed or completed on or before the last day of registration of the immediately following semester;
must be financially deserving (parents’ annual gross income is within STFAP Brackets 1 to 4);
must not have been found guilty of cheating or committing any act of dishonesty in relation to their studies.

Scholarship Requirements
