I would like to ask if there is a waiting list for those who took the exam last November 2010 Entrance Exam? If there is such can you send me the list cause my niece was informed by their teacher and we would just like to find out if it were true. Thanks.
Hi! If the teacher told your niece she’s in the waiting list, then I guess it must be true.
Unfortunately, we don’t have such a list and Pisay doesn’t make it public it as well. In any case, I know that Pisay asks their PSHS -NCE passers to confirm their enrollment so that waitlisted applicants can replace the no-shows.

What if I did not pass the exam for school year 2011-2012? Is there anything I can do to get into Philippine Science Highschool? Do they accept non-passers too. I hope so. I m really desperate in enrolling to this highschool.

A Pisay campus might take in second year students through their lateral intake program. You should inquire regularly with your preferred Pisay campus so you can take that exam – if it takes place, that is.

Pagpunta mo sa results page, makikita mo ang page na ‘to:
Just click on the range of names (one of the 12 ranges) that includes your name to check if your name is part of the passers list. If your name is not on that list but PSHS called you to inform you that you passed, then you probably passed.
To make sure, call PSHS directly – specifically, the campus where you supposedly passed. PSHS lang talaga ang makapagsasabi sa’yo kung pumasa ka o hindi.

kinakabahan na din po kase sya ? isang batch lang po ba ang list of passers ang ipupublish?sabay sabay na po ba? or batch by batch? in case po na wala dun sa list ung name..me POSIBILIDAD pa po ba na makapasok pa po sya sa pnhs? pangarap din po kase nia jan mag aral..alam nia po kase na mahirap ang buhay ..kaya po nung nalaman nian maganda ang offer sa pnhs..natuwa po sya..and she’s always praying po na makapasa sya..

One requirement to take the pshs-nce is that di ka pa naka take ng exam before. Therefore, once ka lang maka take the exam to qualify sa pisay. Kung bumagsak ka, wala nang second chance.

Whew, that’s a problem. I’ve checked and PSHS has not made any application extension deadline announcements. In any case, I suggest you call PSHS directly. You should find the contact information in our Directory. Good luck!

Ang pagkakaalam ko, sabay sabay yan sa November 6. Nasa Test Permit din yang date, time and venue.
Para makasigurado, please call your DOST Regional Office or Provincial Science and Technology Office for info. I also suggest calling the nearest PSHS campus. In your case, that would be the CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION CAMPUS, San Vicente Annex, Camp 8, Baguio City, Telephone number (074) 442-1100.

Ang lateral exam naman po eh para sa mga 1st year high school students na gustong mag-transfer sa Pisay on their second year. So pwede po siyang mag-take ng lateral exam next year.

Usually, students in the waiting list are accepted when qualifiers fail to show up and claim their slots. Be sure to regularly follow up with your PSHS campus for updates about your status.

Try this. At the search page, input the first two letters of your last name. Do it like the example below:
Click “Search” as instructed. If there are passers with surnames / last names starting with “li”, a results page would populate. I tried “li” and there were results.
Look for your name in the results page. If it’s there, you passed. If it’s not, you didn’t.

There’s no waiting list online. However, go ahead and inquire at your preferred Philippine Science High School campus if they have a waiting list. They might (note the keyword: might) be accepting replacements for no-shows. You won’t know for sure until you try.

I’m sorry but only PSHS-NCE qualifiers can enroll in Pisay. You still have a lot of options, though. Apart from PSHS, there are other science high schools you can go to.
